Course overview
This course offers a synopsis of all major Tajweed rules for Hafs style of recitation in one course. It is structured for student who has completed Tajweed levels 1, 2, and 3, but require a review of all of the rules for better comprehension. We will cover the major skills in Tajweed including Al-Makhaarej (Exit Points) of the Arabic letters, As-Sefaat (Characteristics) of the Arabic letters, rules of Lam, Ra, Meem sakenah, Noon sakenah, Madd (Elongation), Idghaam (Blending), Al-Waqf (Stopping), and various obscure rules and instances of particular pronunciation of words. This course includes ONLY a lecture portion and should be bundled with regular Advancements in Qur'aanic Tajweed 3 course for those desiring guided reading practice.
