Course overview
This is Part 2 of a two-part course, providing the skills and understanding of Tajweed rules to equip the student with the ability to improve and perfect their reading of Qur’aan. Course topics include Al-Madood (Elongations) in Arabic reading, rules and symbols for Waqf (stopping), levels of Ghunnah (nasal holding), different types of Idghaam (blending), and more.

Meet the instructor
Rasheedah U. Muslem
Rasheedah Ummil-Khair Muslem has been with the Islamic Learning Institute for 5 years as a student , then instructor and member of the office staff. She holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Psychology, and works as a Certified Life & Recovery Coach. Rasheedah continues working towards ijaazah in Hafs Qiraat, as well as Islamic Studies education and understanding. She is a wife and mother of 4 brilliant minds. Her unique style of teaching offers reassurance and comfort to students on a journey with Qur'aanic Arabic learning and discovery.
