Course overview
This is Part One of a two-part course, providing the skills and understanding of Tajweed rules to equip the student with the ability to improve and perfect their reading of Qur’aan. Course topics include Al-Makhaarej (Exit Points) of the Arabic letters, As-Sefaat (Characteristics) of the Arabic letters, rules of Lam and Ra, and rules of Meem and Noon sakenah.

Rasheedah U. Muslem

Rasheedah Ummil-Khair Muslem has been with the Islamic Learning Institute for 5 years as a student , then instructor and member of the office staff. She holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Psychology, and works as a Certified Life & Recovery Coach. Rasheedah continues working towards ijaazah in Hafs Qiraat, as well as Islamic Studies education and understanding. She is a wife and mother of 4 brilliant minds. Her unique style of teaching offers reassurance and comfort to students on a journey with Qur'aanic Arabic learning and discovery.
