Course overview
This is a small group study based course with the goal of preparing the student to qualify for acceptance into the certification program for an Ijazah in Tajweed of Qur'aan.  Students will read through the last 30th of Qur'aan with an extreme attention to correct any errors in exit points as well as articulation and understanding of any Tajweed rules. The pace of this course is based on the individual effort and understanding of the student and may require more than one semester of preparation in order to qualify for entry into the program for an Ijazah in Tajweed of Qur'aan.
Course pre-requisites
 Advancements in Qur'aanic Tajweed-3 or Course Equivalent (Testing Required)
 No New Students will be excepted at this time, current Students only

Hajjah Swiyya Haqq

Swiyya Haqq Was A Part Of The Imam W.D. Mohammad Swiyya Haqq was a part of the Imam W.D. Mohammad delegation to Syria from 2000-2004. She also studied Arabic and Islamic Studies in Yemen in 2005. Since studying abroad, Swiyya has concentrated her studies in the science of tajweed. Since gaining ijazas in hafs recitation from Syria, she has studied the 10 ways of quranic recitation, receiving ijaza in them as well. Swiyya also holds a Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics and Tesol.
