Course overview
This is the third level of intermediate Qur'aanic Arabic Grammar course work where students will do a comprehensive review on all they learned in Levels 1 and 2 of the Progression series. Students will review course exercises and include conversation style lessons to improve and develop their verbal communication and vocabulary as well as the ability to read and understand simple and complex sentences with faster recall. The goal of this course is to solidify what students learned in the previous two levels of intermediate grammar with efficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Qur'aanic Arabic with a basic level of fluency. This is a condensed course and will run from April 28th - June 28th, 2024.

Meet the instructor
Bayinah Shaheed
Bayinah Shaheed is currently an undergraduate senior at George Mason University majoring in Arabic and minoring in Islamic studies, graduating in May of 2023. Bayinah has studied Arabic in the United States and abroad including Zaytuna's Arabic summer intensive program, Fawakih intermediate Arabic classes, Bayyinah Dream program, and study abroad in Morocco. She has used her knowledge of Arabic and Islamic studies to teach others as an instructor for Masjid Muhammad weekend school in Washington, DC and tutoring for LumiTutor.
