Course overview
This is part 1 of a two-part course structured to provide any learner with the foundation to begin their Qur'aanic Arabic journey. You will gain proven memorization techniques for the Arabic letters, an understanding of vowels and markings, as well as system letter and word formation. Students will progress to writing Surah Al-Faatehah and guided Qur’aanic reading with a focus on correct pronunciation by the end of this course through the aid of weekly language labs for practice.

Olaiya Humphrey-Ford
Hajjah Olaiya Humphrey-Ford has served as Marketing Director and provided technical expertise to ILI advancing its online presence. Olaiya holds a BS in Business Administration and has used her skills to create training courses in the corporate sector. She is a student of Qur'aan with a broad scope of studies through Emory University, the Muslim American Logic Institute and directly with Imam Qasim Ahmed (RA) and Sister Nadiyah Ahmad with ILI.
