12-Week Winter Semester Dates:
December 8 - February 27, 2025
Course overview
This course takes an in-depth look at the foundational beliefs in Al-Islam, while focusing on Tawhid (oneness of Allah) as the building block to all thought and understanding. Students will examine how these principles translate into our everyday practices via Islamic etiquettes. This Aqeedah and Adab course takes a critical and scholarly look at the five pillars and the six articles of faith which each Muslim must believe, in order to correct and improve how we think on Allah and the creation around us. Because the understanding of belief as discussed in this course sets up the foundation of all other thought, this course aims to provide a transformative experience which leaves its student with better knowledge, better thinking, and better actions by Allah's mercy.

Learn In a Community of Care
We are focused on
what is important, you. The journey of life with the goal of returning to Allah both pleased and pleasing is one
that requires continuous study, patience, and care for the learner,
which is what we focus upon at ILI.
Increased Devotion & Knowledge
A better understanding and increased knowledge of foundational beliefs in Al-Islam increases the devotional obedience to the those tenants. Muhammed the Prophet (saws) spent thirteen years teaching Tawheed as a foundation for early believers, which provides a blueprint for us to engage in the same focus as students of knowledge.
