Course overview
This course provides advancement in tajweed reading sessions for students who have completed Reading Fluency C, Tajweed 1 and beyond or their equivalent. The students will be immersed in a well- guided reading environment with a qualified Tajweed instructor. Student will refine their knowledge, implementation and understanding of the Tajweed rules. They will be required to read selected suwar to help them recite with measurable accuracy and confidence. This course is offered for $125 to include a total of 12, 60-minute sessions. Students may select a payment plan.

Peer to Peer Support
The smaller group sessions in this Tajweed course allow for increased social connections among readers and allows for participants to build on each other's strengths.
Meet the instructor
Zaid Hameed
Spoken Word Artist & Co-Founder | Muslim Culture Con (MCC) based in Atlanta, GA: Zaid Hameed is committed to fostering community growth and prosperity. He is a Co-Founder and current Secretary for the nonprofit Muslim Culture Con, where he serves on the Programming Team curating Muslim young adult (18-35) identity & leadership development initiatives for the community of Imam W. Deen Mohammed (RA). His efforts focus on evolving community life and facilitating effective transitions of young adults into community leadership. Zaid is the Founder of Effective Poetry, curating impactful poetry and live entertainment experiences in Atlanta at the intersection of Al-Islam, Artistic Expression, and Black America. Through facilitating free community writing workshops in local Islamic Schools and Masajid; he strives to cultivate others through his poetry and community service.
