Course overview
This thought-provoking course gives explanation and interpretation of Surah Al-Fatiha, examining its reason for revelation and grammatical structure for deeper understanding. Along with historical Islamic sources, the Tafseer of Imam W. D. Mohammed is applied for comparative analysis of these opening versus, elucidating how these seven ayaat allow for the understanding of the entire Qur'aan.

Meet the instructor

Imam Hatim Hamidullah

Imam Hatim Hamidullah has served as an Islamic leader and teacher nationally and currently serving his local community of Orlando, Florida as Imam at Masjid Al-Haqq, member of the Florida Conference of Muslim Americans, Shura of Imams of the Islamic Society of Central Florida, and the Mayor's Interfaith Council of Central Florida.  He is Executive Director and co-founder of Knowledge for Living, Inc. a 501C3 nonprofit organization which educates and provides social services to those economically disadvantaged.
