Course overview
Malik ibn al-Huwayrith reported: The Prophet, Peace and Blessings be upon him, said, “Pray as you have seen me praying. When the time of prayer arrives, let one of you announce the call to prayer for you and then let the older of you lead the prayer.”
Sahih al-Bukhārī (5662) & Muslim (674)
This course will engage the Prophet's (SAW) command to "Pray as you see me pray." covering in-depth the requirements of Salah from Wudu to Tasleem & Dua.  It will include audible recitation and reading recognition of the Salah in its entirety, as well as provide some tafsir and meaning in its positions, times, and words.
Course pre-requisites
This course has no pre-requisites and is open to all learning levels. All that is required is sincere dedication and effort to perfect the practice of salat as commanded by Allah (swt) and demonstrated in the life example of Muhammad (saw) the messenger of Allah.

Meet the instructor
Imam Dr. Salahuddin Muhammad
Imam Dr. Salahuddin Mustafa Muhammad accepted Al Islam at the tender age of  thirteen. Originally from Harlem, he now resides in Raleigh, NC. He is an avid  student of Imam Warith Deen Mohammed (RAA). As a student of knowledge, he is conversant in the Islamic sciences and passionately involved with teaching Al Islam in its pristine purity. He has been an adjunct professor at four colleges teaching world religions and Al Islam. He obtained a Doctor of Ministry degree in Classical Islamic Sciences-Christian/Muslim relations from Hartford International University. He is married to Fonda Kitt for almost four decades, has five children, ten grandchildren, and  two great Grandchildren.
