Khatm ul-Qurʾaan (Arabic:ختم القرآن) means recitation of the Holy Qur’aan from the beginning to the end. According to Islamic culture, numerous rewards and spiritual effects have been mentioned on complete recitation of the Qur’aan, which on a whole, adds a great deal to the likelihood of acceptance of adʻiyah (plural: duʻaa’ (supplications)).
The Forty-second supplication of al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya is the most famous and the most comprehensive supplication of Khatm ul-Qur’aan:
أَللهُمَّ إنَّكَ أَعَنْتَنی عَلی خَتْمِ كِتابِك
O Allah, Thou hast helped me complete Thy Book (pg.390-411)
Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya is a collection of supplications and whispered prayers composed by Sajjad (Imam Zain-ul-Abideen ibn Hussain ibn Ali (AS), the great-grandson of Muhammad the Prophet (SAW).

KHATMUL QUR'AAN FORMS
Mabruuk (congratulations) to the ILI Members who completed Al-Qur'aan!
Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah's Presence,- yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. Suuratul Muzzammil 73:20 (The Enwrapped One)
*What is "G-d?" Imam W. Deen Mohammed, leader of the largest indigenous group of Muslims, explained that in order to show due reverence to the Name of G-d Almighty, that we not use any spelling that could in the reverse mean "dog."
